A Home Information Pack (HIP) must usually be provided before a property can be offered for sale. The HIP is a set of documents about the property including an Energy Performance Certificate, title documents, leases and some searches. Further optional documents may be included at the discretion of the seller including general information, additional searches, guarantees and a survey.
